indesit DIS04 fills over night

Hi gents this dishwasher fills overnight (but)with machine switched off when you close the door pump come on and emptys the water away suspect valve bypassing but why does the pump come on with the machine off at the switch or should i suspect the pcb
or door leaved open at night so is it the pcb bringing the pump on if the door was leaved close ??? anyone help on this

If the base is flooded the pump will run even if the machine is switched off on the control panel, sounds like a faulty fill valve TBH.

but why should the pump only run just to empty the water out of the cavity then stop as thou its a timed pump out where as with water in base it would run untill you took the water out of the base?
cheers for the reply iadom machine works fine just the problem of water in cavity in a morning when the door is leaved a jar i think i will try a new water valve cheers alro

The pressure switch could be sensing an overfill situation and pumping out until empty.
