Indesit dishwasher DI 62 fault code

Can anyone tell me if i can DIY a error light flashing fault code on my dishwasher, the second light (no. 2) is flashing i am unable to start a new wash cycle.

i am quite sure the problem occured because i had two power cuts during a number 2 wash cycle.

do i need to call an engineer or is it possible to reset myself.

I think this is a no fill fault – check water supply turned on, failing that possible valve failure, or supply from computer to valve failed. Probably a bit technical, so if you are not confident with test equipment send for an engineer. Check in the Directories section for a local UKW repairer, or pop up your post code and someone will pick up on it.

If you’re going to have a look yourself, pull the plug first!

if the dishwasher failed after an interuption to the cycle
its possible that when the machine was restarted
the conditions had changed which the machine saw as
a fault and a reset would normaly cure it
on some dishwashers pressing the start button for
more than 5 seconds will reset the program.
You should read the instruction manual to see
if it tells you how to reset or abort a cycle
