can anyone help

at the end of a wash cycle the detergent tablet remains in the holder or falls out once door is opened it is mushy from soaking up water.

tried different cycles but no change also tried diff brands of tablet.

Is the appliance washing? It sounds as if it’s not from the description given and that would explain why the tablet isn’t disolving.

it is washing and drying, all dishes are as clean as can be without any detergent/tablet being used

it seems to me as if the holder lid is stuck and doesn’t open as it should.

sometimes it remains closed at the end of a cycle,once i open it the tablet has swollen and is stuck inside, other times when i open the door the holder opens and the tablet falls out again swollen and mushy.

It could be that the detergent dispencer is faulty or has an intermittent fault on it.

The other thing to look for is that there’s nothing stopping the detergent lid from opening, dangling air fresheners are a favourite for that. 😉
