I have a fairly new Indesit DFG26B1 dishwasher and more often than not, it fails to start the program first time.
I turn it on, load the dishwasher with tablet and dishes. Close the door which clicks shut, press the ‘Start’ button.
A sound of drain/pump activates but it doesn’t start cleaning.
If I then pause and resume it sometimes works, if not I have to power it off, then it works first time after pressing start.
Any ideas please?
No salt warning, filter is clean, nothing unusual as far as I can see.
The manual doesn’t seem to mention anything in it’s troubleshooting section.
I think there was a post a couple of months ago with a report of this exact fault. Can’t find it ATM but I think the poster had this fault and even the Indesit engineers where having difficulty sorting the problem.:(
