Indesit Dishwasher no water circulation

I have and Indesit dw9suk. The water is not circulating although it fills and drains okay. I took out the motor and rotated it a few times and it worked for one cycle. I replaced the capacitor on the motor and and again rotated the motor and checked all connections and again it worked for one cycle then stopped. Is it the motor that has failed?

Thanks for your help. I replaced the motor and impellor unit and it works. The old unit was very stiff to turn and the impellor had started to disintegrate where it is connected to the motor. It would seem that over the years it had become over tight.
