Indesit Dishwasher Not Cleaning

Hope someone can help. I have a Indesit DIF 04 dishwasher and it has stopped washing dishes properly. I have checked filters, spray arms, pumps and pipes for blockages and have found none and water is getting hot during cycle. I have noticed by mentally noting the top spray arms position that is not moving during. So i am thinking there is something wrong with the re-circulation of the water. Note that the dishwasher has also all of a sudden become nosier. I am thinking the re-circulation pump may now be faulty and needs replaced?
Is this something you agree with or are there any other faults i may be over looking before i go ahead and buy a replacement pump?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The recirculating pump is seriously expensive for what it is and from your comments doesn’t sound hopeful. If you’ve been using this machine without salt in a hard water area then your problem just got worse.
