ParticipantRe: indesit door catch
this part number seems to be for the door handle not the door catch/latch .

To helo 75: If that rude comment was directed at me, then I’d like you to know that the esteem in which I held you has taken a slight knock. You are undoubtedly a highly experienced and capable engineer. It’s a shame you are so brash.
The reason I posted the link was because it showed a picture of the part together with the part number, so abbots would have been able to check it was the right part I was directing him to. I didn’t know the thing was time sensitive, I didn’t have to register to search for that part – it was available to all. Also, I try to help people to help themselves rather than just run around doing their work for them. Just as others on here have helped me in all sorts of ways.

Participantnot at all
its aimed at all the people who just type ‘use the search function and ye shall seek’
it goes on a lot. and sometimes its easier to just answer the question
oh, and ur link didnt work
please dont think anything is aimed at you

It’s a useful site for getting part no.s from. Don’t know how long it’s been available. I get the impression that manufacturers are getting their acts together to cash in on the retail spares market which they’ve been allowing the likes of espares etc. to exploit. Or maybe they’re slightly concerned about the forthcoming OFT review.

No substitute for Partfinder though is it? 🙁
Less that 50{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} photo images shown, no tech spec variables info on production mods, parts randomly listed…. 😡
