Indesit door error code

Hi, I was wondering if somebody could help? I have an indesit WIXE127 that stopped during a cycle and error code door came up. I turned off the machine and back on, it went back to the minutes that were remaining of the wash, but didn’t start and then reverted back to saying door error code. We have cleaned the filter but that hasn’t helped….. We just thought we’d try. The door wouldn’t open so we turned the machine off at the switch, and after afew minutes we could open the door to retrieve the soaking wet washing, but as soon as the door is closed again, it won’t open unless the machine is switched off.The machine wont start at all…..
Any ideas? Also can we fix it at home and if not, is it worth paying repair costs rather than buying new.
We have four children and the washer is on at least once a day, seven days a week. It’s around five years old. Money is tight, so just want the most budget friendly solution, thanks

Old post but probably the door interlock and its wires melted. If it is ( or by now probably was ) this you might still be unlucky as often the pcb is taken out at the same time.
