    indesit widl126uk ser no.407198006
    when you switch machine on at wall socket door locks straight away even before you touch machines power switch
    machine will go thru a cycle in the normal way no problem then wont open have to switch off at wall socket
    any idea what would cause this or is it a new module required

    yep, common complaint that

    pcb required, and of course a smart card and a reader….

    not cheap, indesit fixed price repairs are your cheapest option
