Indesit DV 620 fails to empty & dreaded flashing lights

I hope some can help. I have a built in Indesit DV 620 that will not empty. It appears that it has done a cycle as the dishes appear clean. There is dirty water in the bottom of the machine. My guess is that it needs to complete a final rinse & dry. I get two flashing lights, prewash and wash the first two from the right. If I switch off the unit and back on and select a programme no attempt is made to empty or start the programme selected. Please help cause I am going to be lumbered with washing up for 5…yikes!

Timeout on drain. Your machine has a blockage, most likely an obstruction in the drain pump.

Power off if investigating further, or click the link below for an engineer.

Yes, I have emptied the water and sure enough I can select a new program and the dishwasher appears to work but fails again with the flashing lights when it comes to empty. I will give your man a ring tomorrow. Thanks for your support.
