ParticipantHi – new to this forum, hoping someone can help.
I’ve got an Indesit DVG622 dishwasher that is not heating the water. I’ve replaced the thermostat and the element but still no joy – only difference since I did that is that the 4th light flashes quickly which as far as I can see means that there is a problem with the heating circuit….which I already knew 😕
The next step seems to be replacing the PCB but this is £65 and would take my total spend to over £100. Indesit tried to sell me a service contract of £15/month which I laughed at but I’m now wondering whether I should just cut my losses as have read that this machine is a disaster anyway 🙁
Anyone got any ideas on how I could verify which component is failing before I shell out more cash….or bin the the machine?
Thanks in advance

Apologies, having posted this topic I then found a similar post that seems to indicate the issue I have is almost certianly the PCB. Strangely I wasn’t able to find this thread by searching before I posted, so again sorry for duplicating the thread.
Just debating whether to go ahead and buy the PCB or bin the machine and shell out circa £500 for a decent new machine…..

Okay I’m back…apologies…..again. It’s still not working.
I decided against buying the PCB because I can’t seem to find it cheaper than £70+delivery which would take my overall spend on this problem to more than £100. Based on what you guys have said this seems like I would be throwing good money after bad. So in desperation I tried replacing the relay but still the same problem exists. Anyone got any ideas what else I could try otherwise I’m gonna be stuffed as will have to buy a new one? What is the temp. sensor (NTC) on the PCB? If this is something I can replace then I’ll give it a go, can’t really see what else might fail on the board.
Help….please!

Temp sensor ( ntc ) is hard wired to the board and will not cause a ‘no heat’ fault.
Your instincts are telling you the way to go. 😉
