What was the reason for your visit?
Fourth light flashing is a heater timeout error.

Sorry but could you explain heater timeout error as the Fourth light did not start to flash until it got to the drying part of the program (Heated to temp then drained out)
It heated both on the wash and the drying; I sat with both side panels and top off got very hot both times. My question was should the 4th LED from left flash at the end to say program has finished?

I refer you to my first post, if everything is working, why did the customer call you out?
It might help to point us in the right direction.

Just because it gets hot doesn’t mean that the pcb knows it’s getting hot. I’ve had a lot of thermistor failures on these.

Will order a thermistor and give that a try.
The only part I can see on Partfinder is T/STAT SAFETY 78C NC part No. C00041086 is that correct, if not would you know part number?
Did find on another INDESIT IDL530 post about a module with ntc attached part No.C00143209 is that it?
Thanks for all the help and info.

hi, the wash light will flash at end of programme, its only a fault indicator if you cannot then clear it & run another programme,
