Indesit Error Code – A99?

Hi, firstly must say thanks for a great site, a wealth of information!

Secondly, can anyone help with a problem on an Indesit IDE 1005 Dishwasher.

I have an A99 error code flashing, machine won’t start.

Sometimes, when you power it on, nothing happens whatsoever?

I did a search but couldn’t find a reference to the above code, is it totally kaput?

Machine is nearly 4 years old.

On the Hotpoint machine that is a clone of this machine AL99 is a communications error, does look as though the main PCB is faulty although it could just be a bad contact.

The modules are not over expensive on these machines, Around £30.00.

Be sure to remove the plug if you intend to investigate further.

Thanks for the fast reply, where abouts is this part located in the machine i.e. how would I get to it?

Also, do you know any reputable suppliers of the part?

Its in the door at the top, be careful if you do open it up, some very sharp edges.

It’s definetely an intermittent problem, sometimes the display will light up with A99 when it’s switched on. Other times, nothing.

I have sent an e-mail request for a price and ETA to that address.

Is it a fairly simple swap out in terms of fitting? Any soldering etc? I hope not 😕

No soldering involved, if you have any doubts then try the link at the bottom of each post to our Repairs@ facility.
