    My IDL40 dishwasher has recently developed some kind of fault. Halfway through the cycle, lights 2 and 4 start flashing rapidly. It still seems to wash, but not as thouroughly as it used to, and still dries. Any suggestions ?

    2+4 suggests a heater fault. As yours may have the heater that is visible inside the tub then if it may be the control PCB that is at fault. Very common on these budget machines.

    First step is to remove the mains plug and test the heater.
