indesit evolution 1400 we14 drum loose

Hi all, the drum started making a nasty scraping noise on this machine. I took the back off and think the internal drum has broken off from the internal spindle (or similar catastrophic failure) that connects to the rear sprocket.

The internal drum is definately moving around, and jamming up, so is a repair economically viable. I can do it my self, but will I need to buy a bearing puller ?As far as I can tell the spindle has a torx head bolt holding it on.

Not sure how the inner drum was held on to this spindle, I need to buy a heavier duty torx bit to tackle this first part of disassembly.

Any help would be appreciated.

If the drum support is broken, you will need a complete replacement tank assembly, as it is a sealed unit.

This is not a cost effective repair.
