Indesit evolution 1600 error code f_07

Hi – can anyone help me with an Indesit evolution washing machine – jsut two years old, now showing an error f-07 and not washing , but if switched off might do a wash, but goes faulty again. before this it was doing a wash but only the wash part and not rinsing but washing for hours on end. you could empty it and set it to rinse and spin but now it show F-07

It’s a heater circuit fault, CW. Almost certainly a control board problem, due to the hit and miss nature of the fault. Heaters, for instance, work or don’t.

Please post up the model number of the machine and we will be able to identify which board may be required (Evo 1600 is a generic).

Thanks for very quick reply! – the model number is WE16 UK ( thats whats on the bar code)

Assuming I’m right, the board is part number C00089074, and it’s about £84 + VAT + P+P.

In view of the expense, a visit from an engineer may be in your own interest; unless you’re a demon with a multimeter. If you are going to investigate further, ensure that the plug is pulled first :plug: .
