So we had this machine for a couple of years now and recently, once the cycle has finished, the clothes remain wet and it doesn’t seem to be drying them properly. I’ve also noticed that the water doesn’t seem to be getting warmed up but that might be unrelated

The filter I had cleaned even before I came here and I also checked the propeller was moving freely. I did open up the rubber drain piping from underneath to check for any obstructions which I didn’t find any of but I noticed a plastic ball in there near where the drain pipe connects to the drum. I’ve read that this is by design but I feel I should remove it? Also, heating the water is not happening. Is that a simple fix by replacing the water heater?
If your Indesit washer isn’t spinning properly, check for unbalanced loads or clogged filters. Sometimes, a blocked drain pump or a worn-out belt can also cause this issue. Running a diagnostic cycle might give more insights into what’s wrong.
