Indesit F/F NBAA 33NFNXD

Freezer works fine, fridge doesn’t cool sufficiently. Parasite fridge.

No massive ice build-up in freezer.
Fan clear of obstructions and is operating (you can hear it still purring away merrily, after the covers have gone back on and the freezer boxes are snugly back in place), yet no cooling air seems to be entering the fridge.

Is there a diverter valve in this machine? (it’s only 2 yrs old and seems otherwise to be in great nick) or is something else causing this defect?

(I try and stay away from F/F’s as much as poss, TBH, as I don’t know enough about them, but once in a while I try to increase my knowledge by dabbling with one. I should know better, at my age 😉 )

check air return port in freezer (just behind evap on r/hside ) can block with ice. open freezer door and see if cold air is blowing up into fridge port if it is shut freezer door and test fridge again if cold air stops its a blockage
