ParticipantHi Folks
Went to this yesterday and suspect the TOC is opperating after oven on for about 20mins. Checked out main stat appears to be working ok as does the cooling fan.
Ordered up the TOC but according to Connect there are 2 stats fitted to this oven beside the main adjustable stat.
1 x 75deg N.A.
1 x Oven TOCQuestion – I only saw 1 stat fitted (at the rear of the oven and had blue spot painted on it) – is this the TOC or the 75deg stat and if not the TOC where is it fitted?
What does N.A. mean? 😳 (I would normaly describe a stat as N.O. – normaly open or N.C. – normaly closed)
Am I right in assuming the 75deg stat is for the cooling fan but the fan came on as soon aa the oven was switched on so this doesn’t make sence ?
Would appreciate a little enlightenment on this if anyone can help me please.
Much appreciated
Mick

Non-adjustable maybe?
From what I can gather looking at Partfinder early cooling fan stats were rated at 75deg C and later versions are 65deg C (C00081599 & C00082750 respectively depending on serial number). I would imagine that both are normally open and close once the respective temperature has been reached turning on the cooling fan.
The other Thermostat (C00089573) would be the fail safe TOC protecting the fan/grill elements I would think?

Its the toc situated on the back of the oven that is causing the problem the temp was increased to stop them from tripping i cannot remember the part n/o offhand. But i’m sure it is the one Martin posted earlier. JJ

Thanks for the replies guys
Have ordered the Oven TOC but the picture looked different to the one fitted which was one of the reasons for the consern but it maybe if the old ones were giving trouble they are fitting different make? – Cooker only just out of waranty.
I did wonder if N.A. was normaly active – a posh way of saying its normaly closed but I dont really lnow hence the question? – but if thats the cooling fan stat would expect it to be open till temp then close to bring in the fan – but as I said earier the cooling fan operates as soon as the oven is switched on?
If anyone can enlighten me further – much appreciated
Thanks
Mick

Been back today – fitted Oven TOC (C00089573) which was situated top R/H edge of grill element from the back (missed it the first vist – not an obvious place to put it and a bit hidden away) and uses part of the grill element plate to fix it in place – what a crap way of fixing and it looked like there has been some heat escaping from the TOC hole and fixing as well because of the crappy fixing :rolls:
Stat at the back on oven by oven fan (blue spot) is the cooling fan stat – cooling fan must have a double feed – one from the main oven selector which puts it on as soon as the oven is switched on – the other from this stat as soon as 75/65deg is reached and keeps the fan running after the oven is switched off till it all cools down.
Well – you live and learn folks but still dont know what NA stands for – quite possible Non Ajustable to contrast between Adjustable main oven stat?
Anyway prob solved so thanks for the help folks
