Indesit Fridge/freezer does not like the cold

Any good ideas or tips on how to get my fridge/freezer to work.

It used to live in the kitchen and worked fine, then we moved it to the garage and when the temperature drops it stops working, i take it this is something to do with the thermometer(re)? 😕

Single compressor/single thermostat machine? The thermostat capillary is responding to the ambient temperature, rather than the temperature of the appliance. Warm up the area around the machine and it will work properly.

So either it stays in the garage and doesn’t work or i move it elsewhere,
any other options??

Put a heater in the garage or buy a fridge/freezer that has a manual or automatic way of combatting this problem. 😀
