Hi guys and girls I’m sure this is an obvious thing but how can i tell which to change and where will I find the stat and heater element…

Hi Nigel,

The most common cause of trouble on those dryers is the thermostats, usually the one shot on that goes, here’s the thermostat kit.

Elements do go but it’s less common although common enough but there’s three possible elements used this one, this one and this one. It depends which variant you have which heater is fitted.

Many thanks for your quick responce…….looking at my filaments there is a break in them so I think it is a cert that the filaments have gone and I will order the g74c version which you kindly gave me the html link for I think it was the second “this one” many thanks for the help regards Nigel 1804.
