    Hi All,

I’ve been looking for thermostats for an Indesit G75 and have been getting some blank stares across parts counters.

It appears that these are the same stats used in the Creda T632CW

    http://www.espares.co.uk/part/p/0/0/0/0 … l?k=T632CW

So, if you’re tearing your hair out looking for them, here they are. £14 the pair, delivered. They even take Paypal. Will let you know how long it takes to get them and if they’re any good.

    Cheers,

    Wilson.

OK, got the stats from espares. Took 10 days !!

It was only a job for the sister-in-law but still…

Anyway, buggers blew after 3 days. Does this point to a deeper fault or were they just crap parts do you think?

    Cheers,

    Wilson.

1/ You’d have got the parts from spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk in 2 days flat allowing for weekends.

2/ Did you tell her not to open the door without setting the cooling time first? It’s such a common problem that we wrote an article about it ‘cos we got fed up with repeating it. HERE.

3/ If the motor start/run capacitor is weak or failing, it may run for a while and give up. Lack of airflow will pop the safety.

4/ Start relay dropping out after a short running time. Same problem – machine gets hot, then stops. Safety pops.

Thanks for the very informative reply.

I have ordered a new set of thermostats from spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk (great price at 9.99) and will check the capacitor.

    Cheers,

    Wilson.
