Hi I’m after a wiring diagram for a Indesit ID60C2WS electric cooker.
I replaced the main oven thermostat today because the cooking temperatures were miles out.
On testing following the repair I realised that the fan motor turns off at the same time as the heating element reaches preset temperatures.
Very strange that both are being controlled by the thermostat because the fan motor should continue circulating the air even when it has reached temperature.
I suspect an inherent problem in that the wiring maybe at the function switch is incorrect from new!
    Cheers.

    Thanks for the info Dave.
30w fan motor not much of a saving when you’re running a 2000w heating element.
I wonder who come up with that bright idea after the the many years that fan ovens have been produced.
Every day is a school day!
    Cheers.

Every little saving counts when you are looking to improve on the energy label system which in turn is used to market the appliance as an enrgy efficient appliance.

Just a shame they don’t mention this function in the instructions.

have you met the hotpoint cooker that fooled me

got called out to cooker and fan was stiff so changed motor. had the unit sat on a work mate with the door off and was tring to make sure it was ok before i put the door and covers on. all i was getting was the odd click from the board and the grill element was warming up slighlty. no matter what i tried the oven would not start
turns out the board does a sensor test by using the grill element and wont start the oven untill it senses a rise in temp. having the door off made this impossible

Very strange, no I’ve never come across that issue and it’s something you wouldn’t expect.
This domestic appliance repair trade is getting just a bit too complicated..
Obviously repairing appliances from multi manufacturers without the training and technical back up you’ll always have the odd problem.

Interesting, I went to a Hotpoint DXD7912CIX and the fan on this cut out as soon as the oven reached temperature then came back on when the temperature dropped. I wondered if it was a fault but appears it might not be.
