ParticipantHi everyone.
managed to get a free indesit IDC8T3 dryer.
The reason it was free was because the previous owner fitted a replacement belt, but in their wisdom they disconnected all the wires from the timer without taking any pictures. As you have already guessed they couldn’t remember where any of them went. After having several attempts and blowing various fuses they decided to get rid of it.
Unfortunately out of all the tumble dryers I own I don’t have another idc8t3 to copy. is the anyone who maybe able to assist me.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise I’ll have to wait for another one to come up for sale.
Thanks in advance.

ParticipantHi Dave. Thanks for the reply .
I’ll have to dig it out from the back of the dead appliance shed (it’s no mean feat, believe me)
As soon as I know the info I’ll get back to you.May 15, 2021 at 8:01 am #476796Daniel Andrew Gosden
ParticipantNot sure if this is any help but it’s two photos I actually have on my phone. In the meantime I’ll get the others. For some reason I can’t upload pictures on here so I’ve attached a photo link to them. https://linksharing.samsungcloud.com/nGUx6uMXl8Sd

ParticipantThanks for the reply Dave, the diagram was spot on. The door interlock contacts were also welded together, so I could load the dryer whilst it’s running thanks for the help. 🙂

ParticipantNOTE. To save anymore screw ups with changing belts from the front of the machine it is actually easier and less risky to change a belt ( regular occurrance on these ) from the rear of the machine. You really want to change the rear bearing at the same time anyway.

agree do all of them that way
you can often just sneak the belt down the back after removing most of the screws without a complete strip downDave
