    Ok understood.
    I did the insulation test by keeping a crocodile clip on the earth from one probe of my multimeter and using the other probe on each connection terminal of each electronic component inside the dishwasher and I did not read any ‘short’ on my multimeter, so no insulation issues.
    I have used the dishwasher twice today and its running well so I am now sure it was a dry solder joint on the timer PCB.
