Indesit IDF 125 freestanding dishwasher.

In all programmes dishwasher goes through wash cycle, but doesn’t proceed into drying mode, instead it starts wash cycle again.

Water is entering machine, water is pumped out, water is hot, spray arms are working, No error codes displayed. Have tried error code procedure, with no results. Does anybody have any answers as I am now stumped.

Do you mean test programme?

To enter Test Mode
Start with the appliance off and the dishwasher door closed – with Mains power supply ON.
1. Switch the dishwasher “on”, (On/Off button).
2. Switch the dishwasher “off”, (On/Off button).
3. Press the Start button and hold for 3 seconds
4. Switch the Dishwasher “on”, (On/Off button).
5. Press Start
When the Auto Test starts, the Last Fault will be displayed for 15 seconds.
This will clear if the Auto Test is fully completed.

If it runs through that without any error code displayed then it would point to a main board failure. 🙁

I tried the following procedure:
With door closed, turn dial to position 1 and turm off power.
Wait 1 min and turn power back on.
Wait 2 mins then switch off and wait for all the lights to go out.
Turn back on, within 2 seconds turn dial to position 2.
Wait 1 minute.
Switch off and wait for all the lights to go out and then turn dial to position 1.
Turn back on and the prewash and dry lights will flash.
Press start /reset so the program can run a short test cycle.

Not sure where you got that from but the procedure I have posted is direct from the service manual and is not the same. 😉

After following the correct procedure! the machine is displaying an F10 error code.
I will meter the heating element and replace if faulty. Sorry for the delay between posts, the dishwasher belongs to my elderly neighbours, who I am trying to help out.

F10? Surely your machine does not have a digital display to show F10. ❓
For it to be a heater related fault it should have the Start/Pause and Drying lights flashing.

Heater on these is part of the main pump housing, part number C00256527, around £50.00
It is THIS one.

LED 2 drying light and LED 4 Start/Pause light Flashing.
Ordered the part, now looking forward to fitting it!!
