Apart from checking obvious such as individual components, wiring harness etc and getting the drain pump to run by operating the float switch, module failure could be a cause. Slight problem with the modules on these, two different ones, not interchangeable.
Instructions are……..Do not discard suspect module until fault has been confirmed as cleared. If the card is not faulty the new card may not come off the factory test cycle if the machine has other component or earth faults.
Refitting the original module may be the only way of getting the machine back to a ‘working fault position’.February 8, 2006 at 11:11 am #163603TOWAN

hope reply is not too late, you say will not reset, but then all lights go out when reset? if you mean after selecting prog and than closing door all lights go out most probably circ pump, quite often when not able to select programme or reset these machines engineers presume module, qiuck check, unplug circ pump and see if it holds programme selects light, also if it has a inline heater fitted ie not in tub, earth faults can cause all sorts of spurious errors/symptons, even a megger meter is not able to confim at times .rgds gazza

Good tips there gazza, Partfinder only shows, ‘in tub’ heater, does this model have tube type on later production?
