Hi there, just bought a new house and found a newish looking IDL 500 plumbed in. To my dismay however it doesnt seem to work. I have had one in the past so i know that when you press start it bleeps, and also if you hold start it bleeps for a bit then 3 quick bleeps, this one makes no noise at all. Also when it starts up it appears to begin a cycle, but after a minute or so lights 1 and 3 flash with no water apparent in the washer itself.
I have seen that 1 and 3 indicate a circulation pump fault, but is the bleep just a red herring??

    Any help would be appreciated

1+3 can be a motor fault, they are very prone to failure but it would normally have allowed some water into the machine before this error code shows.

1+3 is supposed to signify blocked filters but it is also caused by poor or no water flow from the main circulation pump.

Has the cold water tap been turned off?
