Indesit IDL 530 2nd and 3rd lights flashing

Hi

I have an indesit idl 530 dishwasher.

I just had to replace the locking mechanism which I have done and it opens and closes fine and switches on.

it will not work however and the second and third lights keep flashing.

can you tell me what this means please?

2+3 is supposed to signify a fill time out, have you turned the water tap off or pulled the machine out and kinked the fill pipe when you pushed it back?

thanks for your quick response. no. i didn’t turn off the water tap or pull out the machine but I did take off the front fascia entirely.

what does “fill time out” mean please?

It means it hasn’t filled in the allotted time.

If it was working fine before you opened it up then it would suggest that you may have disturbed some connections on the control PCB.

wow, exactly so. I opened it up and checked a few connections and it’s now working.
