indesit idl 535!

Hiya

I have unfoutunatley got an indesit idl 535 dishwasher.
Went to take the dishes out as i thought it had finished
but it was still dirty water in it..
There are no light flashing at all but i cant reset it
either, tried turning it off for a few hours but still
wont do amything..
Any ideas please

Are any lights showing when you switch it on and off?

No the only light that shows at all is the
red power light!

So there is a light showing then. Could be a main pcb failure. 🙁

how would i know, and would it be worth repairing?

You would have to isolate from the mains and open it up. Then you would need proper test equipment to check that there is a supply to the main pcb and also visually check the wiring inside the door, it can break where it bends at the bottom.

It could be a faulty door latch or switch.

make sure to switch of power :plug: before you check or remove any panels could be a blockage in the pump fasetester

I think I might have mentioned that fasetester :rolls: also a simple pump blockage would give flashing error messages, it would not leave the machine dead with just the mains indicator light on.
