indesit idl350 water ingress

Hi
My Indesit Diswasher is leaking water inside.there is a water inlet in the top left hand corner and this is where the water leaks in whilst the machine is not in use.
if the machine is used daily it isnt much of an issue as the machine drains before it starts a full cycle but if left for a couple of days the water threatens to overflow
Is this an easy enough repair ? what part is the most likely culprit ?

Do you mean an IDL530…?

Faulty water inlet valve is the only thing that can cause the machine to fill from that area when switched off.

The inlet valve is the thing that the fill hose is screwed onto.

yes sorry for the incorrect model number.i will investigate that part over the week and post result on here for the benefit of others too.

TBH you can’t really invesitgate the part, you just have to change it. 😉

job sorted ,you were spot on with diagnosis.ordered the part and it fitted easily enough,tested,no leaks wife happy lol.
