    Hi all

I have been called to the above machine because it wasn’t heating – having tested it I found that the heater and thermostat were fine and that it was in actual fact heating happily when it washed (much to the owners surprise), now the fault appears to be not drying, apparently it is stone cold when you open the door and the dishes etc aren’t dry.

Does anyone know what causes this? Is it a board fault?

I don’t know the program sequence of this machine so wondered whether it does a cold rinse at the end of the cycle?

Can someone send me the service information please.

    Thank you

    Jem

did you remove front panel and check board heater connections burning .also the stat/ntc is mounted on the inner door panel 2 black leads from board to ntc will help you locate. its common for it to become detatched

I have replaced many boards on these machines due to not heating. Never seen any burning on the board tho.

I usually check heater circuit to make sure if this is ok then its the board, the new board comes with a new NTC.

    Good luck

    Thank you all

Never got back to the machine as I had a phone call to say that it had started working correctly (for how long?) and to not bother going back till it failed again which is fine by me.
