    My Indesit IDL 40 (UK) dishwasher won’t drain and lights 1 + 2 flash constantly. If I manually drain, then dishwasher will restart from beginning but then stop again at drain point.

    Can anyone help with what is wrong with this and how to fix?

    1+2 is no drain detected in the time allowed….. 😀

    Bail out the machine, unplug it, and remove the base plate. The drain pump is a twist-fit after releasing a locking screw. Remove foreign object.
