Hi can anybody help with our problem? We have the above model but it does not heat up. After a cycle we are left with number 4 warning light left on. Any help would be most welcome.

    Re: indesit idl40s

A quick trawl through this forum will soon reveal that this is a very common fault on Indesit dishwashers.

In 99{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of cases it is either the heating element or the control PCB that has failed.

As yours appears to have the ‘L’ shaped element that is visible inside the tub, it is more likely to be the PCB on your machine.

The first step is to unplug, remove the baseplate and test the element with a suitable multimeter or megger for continuity/resistance/insulation.

A couple of different PCB’s used, full serial number needed to identify. Is there a letter C after the model number?

Hi Thanks for the fast reply, the other numbers are UKC and LS08-EV03C.
I had seen other post but most mention 2 warning lights not just the one.

    Many thanks Tim

The dreaded C 😥 Made in China. :rolls:

Light four is definitely a no heat fault.

Thats not the serial number BTW, its an eight digit number ( no letters ) at least.

If you do decide to buy a PCB its a C00142139. Be sure to test the heater first though. 😉
