Guys,
Excuse my lack of knowledge but I hope you might be able to point me in the right direction. Went to look at the above dishwasher that has the following fault…
Set a cycle and the machine fills, the level is just below the element. The element kicks in and at this stage a faint buzzing noise is hear coming from the circulating pump.
Would I be right in thinking that this is going to be the capacitor on the pump? I’ve read on here that some dishwashers havve a small capacitor on the PCB that could have failed, this would be evident after the machine had filled.
Any suggestions would be really appreciated

It could be the main motor capacitor or the motor itself siezed, capacitor not listed as a spare part but any capacitor of the correct rating would do.
Doesn’t sound like a PCB fault.
