INDESIT IDL500 – PROGRAMME COMPLETE AUDIBLE TONE

Hello. Can anyone tell me how to switch back on the tone that sounds when this appliance has completed its wash programme. An engineer from Indesit switched it off, at the request of my other half.

The buzzer has been eliminated from these machines for some time now. If yours had the PCB changed then it is not possible to reinstate the buzzer.

As for your other question, your relatives Chinese made dishwasher is likely to be a clone of an Indesit machine, very much a bottom of the market product even before Chinese production. :rolls:

Thanks for that. He did change the PCB I believe. I was at work the day he came but the service slip did mention that.

Also ta for the other bit about that Currys model. I am sure if its looked after and they are careful, they will get a few years of use. I’ve just bought a BUSH washing machine. It seems fine so far. But starting to worry after since finding this forum.
