    Hi all

Our dishwasher has decided to flash lights 2 (wash) and 4 (dry) – what does this mean? It was making a lot of noise the past couple of days, but as we wash a lot of plastic stuff in there (with 3 young children) I put it down to the water jets hitting the plastic stuff in the top shelf…

The manual doesn’t mention this particular combination of flashing lights, the machine had washed the stuff in there, it was warm when we opened the door and the drain was not blocked. Any ideas?

    Cheers.

Lights 2+4 are ‘supposed’ to signify a heater related fault.

As your machine appears to have the solid element which is visible inside the tub, that type of element is not as prone to failure as the internal. tube type, it can sometimes fail though.

The electronics on these are also very unreliable and are also a very common cause of heater faults. 😥
