Indesit IDL700 water in bottom of machine will not drain

This D/w is just out of the standard 12 months warranty and has just developed a fault. Basically it won’t start and there is water in the bottom. I have checked the hose for kinks, checked the filter for blockages- none.

What else could be the problem? When turn it on, the front panel makes a low hummimg noise but nothing else.

The water in the bottom appears to be cloudy.

Almost certainly the drain pump is blocked and will need removing and clearing. Help to sort that out for you from a local independent engineer in your area, simply click on the link below. 🙂

How much are we talking approx, i.e callout, parts and labour ?

If it is over £100 Its not worth it as I only paid £170 brand new 13 months ago.
