    Hi
Hoping you can help, I have recently been given an Indesit IDL750 which after 3 successful wash cycles has stopped working.
When running the cycle (any cycle) it stops after a minute or so and two of the program LED lights start to flash indicating a filter blockage. I don’t believe this to be the problem, I have checked the filter and have seen water draining fine at the beginning of the cycle (before it stops).I have also checked the pumps which are working fine and pipework which is clear, the feeder pipe to the water level sensor switch is also all working ok, as far as I can see there are no loose/detached wires.
This maybe a coinsidence but since we added salt (after successful cycle number two) to the dishwasher it then only ran one more cycle before the problems began!!!
Also something else that may not have helped is the fact that I moved the dishwasher by car to my home so had to lie it down. Is it possible that the salt could have moved from its chamber???
Without a diagram of the inside of the machine I’m running out of things to check…any advice would be gratefully received.
    Many Thanks

The fault code does not mean a filter blockage – it means that a drop in water level has not been detected in the time allowed. Most likely this means that the water level control system is not functioning correctly – it may well have back filled with water due to being tipped over when moved. Power off, remove all small hoses and ensure that there is no water in them or associated components.

    Many thanks Penguin.
Only mentioned that the error was filter blockage as this was what the manual says, but hopefully you are right and we get this sorted over the weekend.
Will let you know how we get on. Will give you a shout if that doesn’t cure it if thats ok.
