indesit idv 75uk wont run

hi guys got to look at this , turn timer on press the start button , nothing happens , except the heater comes on and roasts the cover , i can hear a faint buzz when i press start , no power going to motor , but power to heater , no power at the capacitor but there is a neutral at the motor , timer ? checked all wires door lock ,anyone

Sometimes giving the timer a hard tap with a hammer releases the contacts. Only to prove the point though, not as a permanent fix…
