I recently noticed the temp on my Indesit IF89KGPAIXUK oven wasn’t getting to the correct temp, it was around 130 all the time and the grill stopped working even though we’ve used it twice in the 3 1/2 years we’ve owned it.
I tried a new element no joy so I took it to a local repair store and a Hotpoint guy took a look.
He said the power board needs to be replaced at a cost of £125. I found a replacement board online for £87 but someone mentioned it has to be “re-programmed”, is this right ?.
Can I not just buy a board were I can simply hot swap for a new ? If so were from ?.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated and if it meant soldering to change relays or anything I’m fine lifting and relaying any surface mounts on boards.
P.S oh and , if the power board is dead would nothing work in the cooker ? no power lights etc ?.
