Indesit interlock question

I have an indesit washing machine and having trouble fixing the door lock.

Replaced the lock but dosnt seen to be getting a live feed via red wire.
If i take the cover off the lock and push the bi metal peice down the machine will run.

So anyone have an idea what I can do.

if the machine runs and the motor turns then its prob the board

its not unusual if the lock fails for it to damage the board

remove board and look for blown components
