Have a job to replace a drive belt on this dryer..there as been posts on certain hotpoint, saying how difficult they can be..does this apply to this model. please John
Top and side off.
Fan cowl off & front fan off.
Tension pulley off.
Tease belt over front of drum and over motor shaft.
Put belt in place. Fit tension pulley last. This can be tricky but do-able.
ive since found something even better, the round cross sections often cause the belts to stick too much, so now use an L-cross section runner support from an old b/u d/o and hook that over the motor, it also has the ability to flex slightly, so your not stressing the motor pinion quite so much
