Indesit IS70 condensing dryer

My daughters Indesit IS70 is showing the “Water full” light all the time, have checked the reservoir and it is empty, have checked the condenser and it is reasonably clean. There appears to be some water in the bottom of the machine, can anybody suggest what to try next? Thanks

located at the back rear of the machine, in the grey plastic housing on the right

I had identified the pump as a possible but couldn’t see an obvious way of getting at it.

Take the grey cover off.

Powr off first.
