hi there, there maybe something caught in the front fan, like a piece of plastic, etc.

not familier with indesit so I cant say how you get to it!

If its like the whirlpool / white knights, if you take the condencer out of the front, you may be able to gain access from there, to see if anything is caught.

power off if you do have to take it to bits!

Your machine is based on a Hotpoint/Creda design. Unfortunately devalued in the three years that the Indesit Company have been in charge. Your machine may have the two drum front bearing pulleys used to support the drum. These caused excessive noise and the drums even fall off them completely. There is a complete modification kit to cure this fault. It replaces the pulleys with the four bearing pads that have been used on the Creda dryer for over 25 years without problems. 😥 However it is not a simple repair requiring complete removal of the drum to do correctly. If you remove the mains plug and take off one side panel you should be able to see if you have these pulleys, they sit under the front of the drum at about 20 past & 20 to the hour.

Try the link in my sig to see if we have someone who can help if you don’t feel confident of doing this.

    Jim.
