    My Indesit IS70C condenser dryer has stopped heating. All is operating correctly except that the ‘EMPTY WATER’ light is on constantly. Why would this be preventing my dryer from heating?

    Either the float chamber is full or blocked, the float micro switch is faulty or the pump may have failed.

    Dryer shouldn’t run with “empty” light on, Iadom? Thermostat failure let’s it run, I think……

    Stat set is p/no 1703200 if required. spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will supply if required.

    ah, but they do,they just switch the heater off, so it wont condense, chances are the float switch is jammed!
