HI ALL CAN ANYONE HELP ME ON A REALLY CRAP INDESIT CONDENSER DRYER ISC70C. 1ST TRIPPED ALL ELECTRICS + NO HEAT, REMOVED HEATER COVER AT REAR FOUND DROP OF WATER AROUND HEATER. HEATER BLOWN ELEMENTS BENT. CHANGED HEATER WORKED OK FOR A WHILE THEN DID THE SAME TRIPPED ELECTRICS NO HEAT. REMOVED HEATER COVER FOUND WATER AGAIN INSIDE COVER, OBVIOUSLY WATER GETTING INTO ELEMENT AND STATS IN A BIG WAY. ANYONE HAD THIS TROUBLE AND WHAT CAN BE DONE ABOUT WATER COLLECTING IN HEATER COVER. IS IT BLOCKED SOMEWHERE CHEERS ALL AND THANKS.
theres a hole between the condenser chamber and the pump housing, and its blocked
if u put your hand in where the condenser fits, and pull the fluff out, u can then remove the pump housing and poke the hole out (in the bottom left) with something like a cable tie
Condenser housing has the big metal plates in at the front, rear hole has a rubber cap on it down at floor level. If that doesn’t work, then you get into pulling it apart…….
Cheers pipe goes up from pump to resevoir bottle (has overflow down) think the bung type was on hotpoint early type condenser dryers no pump on them with bottle in base
