Indesit ISL70C float switch??

Can anyone tell me what a float switch is where il find it and what to do with it, it was mentioned in another post with similar problem to mine,

thats more likely to be a pump problem

its at the back

bottom right hand side,in the grey plastic housing

theres a universal pump and float switch kit, which is around £25 if memory serves

empty water and the high heat option wont come on, wasnt sure if it was a problem with the thermostat, all filters are clean ect, think il have to admit defeat and get someone out to look at.!!
