ParticipantI have the above washing machine and wonder if you can help with the error code that is displaying on my machine,
The top horizontal bar of lights are all flashing while the 4 & 5 (Drain + End) vertical lights from the top are on constantly.
What error code does this correspond to?
I did a search and this combination hasn’t been discussed before. Thanks!

Error codes are HERE
Ignore the flashing lights and count the vertical lights from BOTTOM to TOP.
The graphic used has the lights shown numbering from right to left. 😉February 5, 2015 at 11:41 am #424410Freerider

Hi iadom,
Thanks for quick reply. This is exactly what I needed.
However I have 6 vertical lights on my machine. Do I start counting from the LOCK or the END lights?
If I count from LOCK I get error code F06 which is not used but counting up from the END light I get F03 (thermistor module) which makes more sense.
Any clarification would be appreciated. I’ve attached a photo of the facia for reference.
Thanks 🙂

You ignore the top light, only the bottom five used. You have F06 which is listed as not used. We do now know however that F06 is a door interlock related fault.
Very poor wiring connections on these budget machines, quite commonly burn out at the door interlock.

You are absolutely right! I took the door seal off just now and It blew at the connector causing it to fuse to the Lock module. You just saved me a call out! You’re a legend! 8)
Looking in the online shop I see the Door Lock for sale but not the wiring loom or connector. Are these available as spare parts?
Thanks!

The connector is not available. The best thing to do is to cut off the old connector plug AFTER first making a careful note of the position of each wire. Then re connect using individual female AMP tags, available from Maplins, Amazon etc. Just insulate the middle tag and you then have a far better connection than the original ones.
Replacement interlock may look different but it will be interchangeable. If the original is located with two plastic lugs then you will have to obtain two suitable screws to refit the new one.
Be sure to remove the mains plug first. :zap:

Great, I’ll do that. Making sure it’s unplugged!
I’ve ordered the Lock and will let you know how it goes. Fingers crossed nothing else shorted out in the process.
When I took the seal off a whole chunk on the door frame came loose as it had rusted through. I think the machine is on it’s last legs so I am going to start saving for a new one.

Part arrived promptly and within an hour I had the machine up and running. Thanks for your help. I would definitely come back here if any of my whitegoods need attention in the future. 😀

Hi,
I think my machine has suffered the same fate. I need to unlock the door (again) from beneath to examine the door lock. Can you let me know where you got your new lock please? Many thanks,
Jim
