    Symptoms: washing comes out cold, and on every cycle a mysterious extra 30 minutes suddenly gets added about half way through the cycle. No error code.

    Just wondered (a) is this the heating element? (b) any way to test it from the front panel?


    I know I can just put a multimeter across it, but that involves removing a door, lifting down the tumble dryer… Etc. If there’s a way to test it by pressing a few buttons I’d much prefer that!

    not as far as I know
    its a multi meter job

    Thanks. I ordered a replacement (and I did remember to order from this site this time) anyway.
